Step 1: Download the “sw.js” file when you hit the project Save button.

For cPanel users, upload it to your /public_html/ folder. And VPS users please upload it to your /var/www/html/ folder. then visit your domain name by just adding the sw.js after your domain, like yoursite.com/sw.js

Step 3: Then, Copy and paste the SDK code below of the sw.js download link on the page, just before the closing </body> tag of your HTML.

Add it in your theme’s footer.php file so that it can apply on all pages/posts.

Step 4: That’s all for the installation step. Now it’s time to check the installation.

How to Send Automatic Push Notifications Using Truepush in WordPress?

Here is how you can send automatic push notifications from your WordPress blog/website dashboard.

We will be going to use the RSS(Really Simple Syndication) to Push method to send web push notifications directly using Truepush.

Step 1: At first login to your Truepush.com account and click on RSS to Push option on the left sidebar of your project.

Step 2: Then add the RSS Name, RSS Link, Delay Notification Time, Campaign Interval Time.

You can set RSS name as you want, best if add “YoursiteName Feed“. For WordPress, the default feed URL for all posts is yoursite.com/feed/. Add this in the RSS Link section. For the delay and interval, you have to set it according to your post publishing frequency in your website/blog.

Step 3: Next, Hit the Add New RSS to save changes.
